Can't see it on the website, but I can see that there's an 'access exclusive coupons' button on the In-Store Coupons page — does this deal require an email message or FB post to view or claim?
Available in-store & click + collect (doesn’t require a code) but looks like some stores are oblivious / weren’t told by the colonel that this is a current deal.

I see new faces behind the counter every time I visit my KFC branch. Also, not sure how staff are told of new deals each day ie. verbally or thru written notice on paper.
I think there is a paper the manager can check if necessary, at least I've had that with more complicated promotions. I suspect counter staff are supposed to be told verbally. Always good to have something like a Facebook post you can show the, also easier in restaurant than at the drive thru.
On their FB page. Although some commenters say they've rocked up the store knows nothing about it haha - https://www.facebook.com/kfcnz/posts/10159846355917139
nothing new about this lol..
I got food poisoning from KFC on Monday. I bought the $6.99 hot and spicy lunch and had severe diarrhea and vomiting and nausea.
The bun tasted especially off. The chicken didn’t taste so fresh (but it can be hard to tell under all that crispy skin) and the chips were dry.
My food was ready in under a minute. It must have just been reheated after sitting there.
When I went back five hours later, the manager told me they need to see a medical certificate before they can do anything.
They had better pay for my doctors appointment when my doctor says it’s food poisoning.
There was fried chicken all in my vomit, my diarrhea smelt like fried chicken and I had it all night and all morning so many times, at least 20. I vomited 5 times too.
I hadn’t eaten anything else that day and it was 3:20pm, it was definitely KFC that did that.
Also when I upgraded to a juice from a fizzy drink, the woman serving me said it’s 40c extra. But when I went to pay it said $7.99 so she tried to overcharge me.
Probably worthwhile to let people here know which branch you experienced this so caution can be taken.
KFC Courtenay Place.
I am going to avoid all KFCs from now on though.
Colonel: "It’s bullshit, I did not poison him. I did nooot. @ohHiMark!"
Food poisoning is a notifiable disease, you've done the right thing going to the doctor. If you go through the motions they will be able to figure out what microorganism has made you sick and then you can roughly tell what it has likely to have been.
I'm no fan of KFC but they run a pretty solid quality system to ensure this sort of thing doesn't happen as do all the big chains. Bear in mind different types of food borne illness have different incubation times so I wouldn't rule out something you had before or even a gastro virus.
I hadn’t eaten anything else that day. I know you’re probably a biased fast food manager (you really do sound like one), but like I said - there was fried chicken in my vomit and my diarrhea smelt like fried chicken.
Not even close. Regardless, I hope you are feeling better.
food poisoning can take 2 days to appear, so it could have been anything from the day prior as well that may have caused it. I’m not saying it wasn’t the chicken, but it may not have been.
hi can’t find 5.99
