If you have never paid via app at Waitomo:

  • Go to Waitomo.
  • Pick a lane and open the app. Make sure data and location services are on.
  • Click ‘pay from your vehicle’.
  • Select pump no. & fuel type.
  • Click ‘own amount’. Minimum $10.
  • Once confirmed, get out of the vehicle and type the amount into the machine.
  • Fill your vehicle.
  • Receipt will be sent through email.

You do not need to load a card onto your account.

        They must be doing something wrong. Still doesn’t work. Does he have to clear browser history or anything? I don’t even know if using incognito browsers does anything for this.

          I'm not sure whether incognito helps or not. It runs off of a browser fingerprint and if you reload the page enough without changing it then it gets blacklisted and you just get smaller amounts.

          Your friend could give you their number and then you could just claim it for them.
