Nespresso Vertuo Next Bundle with Aeroccino - $258.99 cash (or cheaper if you do points + cash) @ Flybuys store
It's the newer style Nespresso that uses the Vertuo capsules
Retail seems to be $369.99

Also YMMV but Nespresso is doing a coffee credit promotion and this machine is eligible for $80 coffee credit when purchased from a Participating Retailer (Noel Leeming supplies the product on the Flybuys store)

If you're satisfied with Nespresso then I wouldn't switch to the Vertuo. It has barcode DRM which rejects 3rd-party capsules.

    • I have Dolce Gusto and love 3rd party - so asking for a friend - how hard is it to copy existing barcode DRM to 3rd party capsules? I mean if the barcodes from genuine to fake are exactly same, both should be accepted by the machine, no? Or maybe other way existed already to enable 3rd party?

      • Where did you buy 3rd party Dolce Gusto capsules?

          Search for 'iCafilas' on google.

There are many sellers on AE, always try get the latest version. There are quite few distributors/resellers in NZ too, but understandably they may carry outdated version and more expensive price.

  • I buy 3rd party Nespresso and Dulce Gusto capsules from these guys :

    https://www.mycoffeecapsules.co.nz/

They have a great selection, biodegradable capsules etc.

    • I found coupon code PODS10 for a small discount (didn't seem to be 10percent like the code would suggest)

  • Has anyone received their flybuys points from disney+ promotion? I sent them email asking for it and was told I'm gonna get them after 25 days. Been like a month now but still nothing.

    • Nope.

    • Next Tuesday will be 25 working days if you took up the Disney+ deal on November 9.

    • Yup. received it like more than 10 days prior.

Also, few others reported they received it as well.

    • Got mine on the 5th.

I've had a couple of different Nespresso machines over the years and used to only buy third party pods like Robert Harris and Coffee Capsules 2U. With the latest machine we got a pack of something like 150 pods from Nespresso (not free, just discounted) and have never gone back. The third party ones don't really taste much better than instant, but Nespresso has a lot of different flavours and options for how to have the coffee.

For price, third party easily wins. For flavour/if price isn't a huge factor, Nespresso easily wins.
