  • Surprised they accepted a pricematch with Fruugo.

    • So am I, but there was absolutely no hesitation. Definitely worth a shot if anyone is interested.

  • Did you ask for 10% off the Fruugo price? :)

  • I managed to get it for $10.09 with everything applied, thanks! Jules is pretty nice and straight forward.

    • how did you get $5 more off?

      • I think because it was my first time purchasing after signing up the MarketClub?

  • +1

Could get Jumanji Game Deluxe for $54.72 if you pricebeat MightyApe

  • Erica won't price match.

    • gotta get Jules

      • Still trying, Rebecca won't do either lol

        • +1

I can imagine the influx of requests to price match this one item would be for CS lol

    • +1

Tried Mailey, but he got no access on price match

    • +1

Chat with Emmie works. Down now to 15.09 if done via mobile app

      • Do you keep trying with the same name and cancel the chat every time you get someone you don't want?

        • Use same name and cancel the chat until someone new picks up the chat

        • I guess I just keep getting "cut off" if it's not Jules…

      • +1

Also got Emmie and a price match, third times the charm haha!

        • +2

+1 on Emmie! She's the one

  • Pls teach us how to start the conversation regarding the price match/promise. Spoke with Angel - she can’t give me because fruugo is not nz based website

    • +1

Just go back on and try with a different operator.
If Angel comes up again, hang up and retry until you get someone different.
It really depends on the operator you get.

      • Thank you. It’s always Angel or Erica lol

        • Angel says no what does Erica say? She doesn't reply to me

          • @nzsaver: I’ve based it in the comments above for Erica.

        • +1

          Looks like Emmie’s the one.

With a lot of these pricematches I’m sure a memo goes round after a period of time saying ‘no more’.
I’ve found I’m most successful when I get in early.
After a while they all say no!

  • It’s a no for Lanie :(

    • She stated that fruugo is a global based market even though it’s .co.nz

  • Hi there. Can someone explain how does price promise work in Warehouse? Do they usually provide a special code for the discount? Or you will need to purchase thw item first at $49 and when they agreed to do price promise - they will refund?

Sorry I’m new in having this price promise situation

      1. Login to The Warehouse
      2. Add exploding kittens to your cart
      3. Open live chat
      4. Ask for pricematch; give them account email, link to The Warehouse item and link to Fruugo item
      5. If unsuccessful, try a different live agent
      • Thanks Wakrak. Spoke with Shayne but she will email me instead for the price match that will take 24-48 hrs. That’s too long already

Do they give a special coupon exclusive for me to get the price promise?

        • They adjust your cart total. I reckon try and get a different agent.

        • They've told me that once too. Said they needed to talk to their manager as thr difference in price was so big. They never did email me.

I would just try to get a different agent rather than waiting.

  • So it is best to use it on desktop rather than mobile app Warehouse?

    • You can do both I think but desktop is definitely easier.

      • Thanks bro. Will try again

  • UPDATE:

I’ve managed to get it at $15.09 with the help of Sheena from Warehouse. Props to her for making it easy for me.

Persistence pays off in the end!

      • True bro.

As much as possible avoid chatting with Erica, Angel, Lanie and Shayne because they will say no

        • Just got Sheena & she refused to do it as well, saying its a global retailer.

          • @LazyBoy: I have a feeling that these are not their real names, just randomly assigned…haha

          • @LazyBoy: Ohhh tsk that’s sad. Try another one bro. As long as you avoid those names given above.

        • +4

avoid chatting with Erica, Angel, Lanie and Shayne

This made me think of Mambo no. 5

  • Just got Emmie and she price matched no worries. Got 2 for $25! Thanks OP

    • Wow lucky you. You got it for 2 for $25? How come?

      • Probably had a $5 sign up voucher

      • $20.95 price promise and 20% off board games on app gets it down to $15.09. $5 off for first time app users. First one $10.09+$15.09 for the second one=$25.18 for two.

Hoping they honour it and click and collect goes smoothly.

        • Why didn't you get it delivered free with the Free Shipping Coupons?
Saves mucking around with click & collect.

          • @bigcheese: One is a last minute birthday present for tonight and the other one is for me :D

            • @Tarzan: That makes sense.
Is the click & collect ready to pickup if you need it tonight?

              • @bigcheese: My local warehouse normally does click & collect same day after 6pm, they’re pretty good with it. She’ll be fine

        • I don't think the click and collect people would care about the deals, unless it's something unusual like someone putting in 100s of 5c deals that sounded an alarm somewhere in their system…haha

  • They emailed me today that it’s ready for click and collect. Just purchased the cards in the morning.
