Looks interesting but I think I would trust the Wyze lock more.

  • don't know how much I'd rely on a Kogan lock.. reviews saying the internals are too cheap and cause problems..

You'll probably get locked out, and it'll take 'em a month to reply to the support ticket for warranty.

Yep I'm on my third Kogan bench water boiler in 12 months. I now have two in the shed and one on the bench. I must say I have had great warranty service from Kogan.I think I would spend another $130 and buy a Schlage Ease Smart Entry Lock or a Eufy Smart Lock Entry for only $50 more.

Many smart locks aren't designed for the NZ outdoor environment, with harsh UV, wet weather and heat. Buy only with a decent warranty.

  • Was looking for a window vacuum and found out that Kogan window vacuum in Kogan NZ/DSE is on free shipping as well

  • I have one of these. I regret not paying for one with better smarthome capability. Has been running for ~1 year without any problems. The fingerprint reader isn't great, and so I find I often need to scan my fingerprint a second or third time. You'll want to remember the code you set too in case your finger is wet and not scanning.
