Not A Good Experience
After running a scan, Advanced Care advised me to update my video driver. Silly me, I agreed and went from a perfectly good computer to a dysfunctional one, due to the wrong video driver. Not hard to rectify with system restore, but only after wasting half my day figuring out what it was. My PC was back running properly again for only twenty minutes when the same thing happened again. I realised system restore had reset Advanced Care to it’s original “automatic clean” state, which I had disabled after making the restore point. So what happens? Advanced Care did an automatic scan, and changed the settings back to suit itself, where the computer went nuts again. This time I uninstalled Advanced Care BEFORE doing another restore, and now things are working as they should be. If Advanced Care can’t install the right drivers, I certainly don’t trust it to safely clean my registry.
