Bonus points (might be targeted):
1. in the Amex card app there's "get $50 back if you spend $300 at Computer Lounge".
2. They also offer https://www.computerlounge.co.nz/shop/audio/accessories/head… for free with these headphones
I've head these headphones for like half a year and they've been amazing. The key points are:
- Noise cancelling is good
- Can connect to a computer via USB-C cable and it'll be recognised as an audio device. Headphones will be charging at the same time. Of course, there's a 3.5mm jack cable as well.
- Multipoint bluetooth connection - 2 devices.
- Support for all bluetooth codecs including LDAC and AptX.
Downsides: they are chunky.
A good review is here: https://www.soundguys.com/sony-wh-1000xm4-vs-shure-aonic-50-…
How does this compare to the WH-1000XM4 and XM5, in terms of ANC effectiveness, sound quality and comfort? I'm thinking of upgrading from a XM4 to a XM5 but this looks good as a backup headphone.
