Hey OP, do you want to update posting, with shipping total is $9.99. Stating $4 is misleading.

What are the actual specs on the cable, ie how many amps is it capable of

  • Seems rip off. You can get better cables that support 66W ~ 100W with either 5A/6A/7A rated ampere charging for like $1~$7 on Aliexpress. I've bought so many I've lost count (different brands, different lengths and from USB A->C or USB-C->C and they all work very well. Braided as well, really good quality.

    • Just because ali express claims theirs does that doesnt make it true… I've tried these cables highly doubt they are actually 7amp rated. Would also like to know what device would actually draw 7amp through a USB cord

      • You can always measure them with proper equipment.

And yes, not many devices draw past 5A these days, most are still running between 2A~5A. But the point is that regardless of what cables you get on Aliexpress, there's a very high chance that it'll be better than this one on Cheapies. I've purchased so many different ones (probably spent like ~$250 on just cables alone) and have tested and confirmed that they are indeed running at the correct specs. I also purchased a couple of GaN chargers at 200W and 245W and they are much better than the expensive rip off 100W GaN chargers selling here locally. The cable I'm using now is a 100W cable that is connected from my GaN charger to my port replicator, and then another 100W cable from the port replicator to my laptop. The port replicator provides PD passthrough and so my GaN charger is essentially powering both the port replicator and my laptop at the same time. Port replicator has multiple monitors connected to it and it also has some other USB devices connected. I just have a single cable from the port replicator to my laptop. All in all, I'm using just 2x 100W USB-C cables and both are from Aliexpress.
