Doesn't quite make sense to stockpile at the moment with the rate at which fuel prices are decreasing.

      • Best time to stockpile would be the day before they reintroduce the fuel tax, but the app would be inaccessible, crashed and burned.

hmmm are petrol price expected/speculated to go down ? thought its quite a good time to stockpile at the moment

      • +2

Personally, that's a price I'm happy to pay at for now given that the petrol price around where I live is $2.60+/ltr at the moment.

Remember that these are the price without the fuel tax and I haven't seen the fuel price this low since 2017

    • With the same calculation for 95 @ 2.439:

      150L + 5L bonus 2.3577
      250L + 10L bonus 2.3414
      500L + 25L bonus 2.31705

      • Which finally makes it comparable to filling up at Caltex Newton with 10c discount.

  • Does anyone know if you can get this and share it with other family members in different parts of the country? E.g Buy in Auckland and share with people in Christchurch

    • Yeah im pretty sure you can add members to your account that can use the fuel, but not purchase. When you're on the sharetank tab, up the top of the app there are settings where you can add them.

    • Yes, I believe this can be done. Read up here: https://www.z.co.nz/products-and-services/z-app/sharetank/sh…

You can even get someone in Christchurch to fill up the sharetank (if cheaper) then use it in Auckland or if you're out and about and say the Z price in Rotorua is cheaper, you can fill up the sharetank then and use it in Auckland when you're back.

You can just spoof the location to do this.

        • This alone is why the whole premise never really made sense to me.

        • I read that Z app catch you if you spoof your location and block you from using sharetank if caught

Share tank in (East) Auckland has been meh for quite some time.

PAK'nSAVE in Botany 223.7 for 91, Manukau 218.7, after 6c discount which has no minimum purchase requirements

    • Pak'n Save Botany is 235.7 (229.7 after 6c discount).

  • I'm seeing $2.229 for 91 in Christchurch in the Z app, checked Gaspy and that's the price at Z Woolston, if you go there you can get $2.169 with pumped. Pretty nice!

  • Wish there was 98 Sharetank.
Although the 95 for 2.44 seems like a very good deal.

    • How's that a good deal? :|

      2.37 in Hastings

          • +1

            @Jexla: But you can't pre-purchase 200L from paknsave at 2.37. :P

        • It's great stuff

  • is anyone still seeing 2.249? mine is showing up as 2.399

    • Still 2.249 for me

  • Now it’s finished.

  • Yes its finished

  • Has the bonus litres stopped for anyone else? Been putting it off for a few days and was going to purchase today but went to buy 500L and no bonus litres.. not worth it now

  • Z Woolston is currently at 2.20 for 91 if your currently running low
