  • all gone now

  • Yeah couldn't checkout for the sync box, looks like pricing error. Did manage to pickup 2 lightbars for $44, will be interesting if they honour it.

  • I feel like this must be a mistake and these are going to get cancelled.

  • Good deal, but be noted it doesn't support HDMI 2.1.

This is similar to the ambilight setup on Philips TVs but not quite as good as it requires it to be used with external HDMI sources, so doesn't work with any of your TV apps or freeview.

Was looking at a similar setup that is a bit more universal called a Govee.

Just did a bit more reading, it seems if you have a newer Samsung TV, you don't even need this sync box, there is an app you can download that makes it work much like an ambilight

    • yes the newer samsung tv's can use a app however that app cost around $215NZ to activate, only supported for 5 years and you can't transfer that license to anything else.

      • And only on certain Samsung TV's :/

I wouldn't buy this out of principle with the how restricted it is.

      • OMG that's expensive, I would bite at that price either

  • It looks like a majority of the Philips Hue Range is unavailable or out of stock. Must be a mistake.

    • +1

      Happens quite often with JB

      • Always 🤣

  • My order was cancelled and the Hue Sync is showing back on the site with a price of $466.65

    • Yep same for me, was expecting that to happen though.

      • what time was your orders placed?

        • Mine just got cancelled too (philips hue light bars) but I did get a $20 voucher as a "gesture of goodwill" so that will be a nice bonus on my next order.

          • @Rhys: same here. $20 voucher underway.

  • +1

Queen Street store had a bunch for sale - got a sync box for $40 (sticker was $150) and 75inch gradient strips x 3 for $40 (stick was $100). But this was part of their moving sale, think I just got really lucky.
Also scored a nanoleaf lines 15 pack for $150.

Now the challenge will be where to put everything….

    • Damn that's all a steal. I'd happily buy a gradient off you at that price haha

      • Was showing the loot off to my wife (who was unimpressed =[) and it was actually $25 per strip lol. They honestly did not care and just wanted to sell them instead of carrying them down the road.
