Castrol EDGE 5W-30 engine oil A3/B4 with Fluid TITANIUM is the natural choice for drivers who demand maximum engine performance from today's modern vehicles requiring a high level of protection and higher performance oils. Today's engines continually push the boundaries of technology and engineering, they are smaller and ultra-efficient, without sacrificing performance. Advanced engines challenge the oil with increased pressures. These intense pressures cause friction, which can waste up to 10% of an engine's performance. Castrol EDGE 5W-30 A3/B4 is an advanced full synthetic engine oil suitable for use in automotive petrol and diesel vehicles, where the manufacturer recommends an ACEA A3/B4, API SL/CF or earlier specification 5W-30 engine oil.

  • Hey guys, is it suitable for Toyota aqua 2015?

It's what I put in ours. Seems to be fine.

some one previously said to only use full synthetic.

0w-20 is recommend IMO. happy to be proven wrong.

This Castrol 5w-30 is fully synthetic.
Each to their own with what oil they decide to use in their car.

I have had good success with no apparent issues with the Aqua using this oil (changed every 10k, done 3x now since we've owned it). Granted it's a small sample size, but no issues that we've seen.

Have also used it in my Honda Accord for 170ks with no issues.

        • Thanks, enjoying the discussion as its all new to me with a hybrid car and ti's different requirements.

      • I use 0w-20 too based on the manual for the sedan, i tried 5w30 and didnt like it, even though i got better milage it felt more sluggish, the car would turn on in various times while idling so i switched back on the next change.
