  • Sorry not deal related but just out of interest, does anyone really get $1k worth of utility from smartwatches? You couldn’t pay me to wear one of those things , I get it could maybe help reach fitness goals but outside of that does this improve anyone’s lives? Not being judgmental just interested!! Thanks :)

    • Not really no, Theres little point of having one when you can pull out your phone for a much better experience.
The health monitoring is really where it does something. ECG can detect arrythmias which may save your life.

    • I use casio Bluetooth smart watch it only has accelerometer and push notifications it was about 200 NZD , it has a mip display which is great does not need charging as battery lasts 2 years approx ,
I use it every day gardening swiming etc it's great the time is syned to phone i get phone call notification and others ,

  • +1

Any serious runner, swimmer, cyclist, triathlete would get worth out of that watch. It's a sports watch, not a smart watch. More accurate GPS, altimeter, pacing data, training statistics etc.

  • Bought this for $500.Very comparable to Garmin Forerunners but a superior product in my opinion.

Only thing lacking is ANT+ connectivity.

    • The reviews mention sluggish UI due to a slow processor - is this an issue for you?

Woyld you recommend this over the Coros Pace 3 (coming out soon ~NZD450) or the Garmin Forerunner 955 (on sale at NZD599)?

      • The UI does feel a bit sluggish compared to my Fenix, but it's 1/3 the cost. I prefer battery life and GPS performance (multi-day walks & cycling), it's a beast at both.
