First time this year!

Requires a mobile number not previously signed up to the Waitomo app.
Assuming it's the same as last time this was done you can get $5, $10, $20, $50, or even $100.
Every spin is a winner.

Instructions
When you login for the first time you will be sent a One Time Code to your mobile number for verification.
You do not need to verify the number again unless you log out of the app or login on a different device.

  • Go to Waitomo.
  • Pick a lane and open the app. Make sure data and location services are on.
  • Click ‘pay from your vehicle’.
  • Select pump no. & fuel type.
  • Choose amount you'd like to spend - either preset amount, 'Fill', or 'Set' to choose your own amount (between $10 and $300)
  • Add a payment card or choose 'Just use my Moolah' if you already have some on the account
  • Fill your vehicle.

Receipt will be sent through email.
You do not need to load a card onto your account if you have sufficient Moolah to cover your purchase.

    A bit lame, might have to go grab a few $1 sims and try again. FYI this credit will expire, not sure what timeframe but I was too slow on a few few last year and it disappeared after a few weeks.

    Also this is pretty obvious but put you B'day as few days ahead when registering and get an extra $5 moolah.

      Yes it used to last a long time but they then made it expire within a few weeks. Doesn't it say when you win though or somewhere? It used to.

    • You would hope they would send you a reminder before they expire it.

      • I’ve never seen a reminder before.
        However, the txt didn’t list an expiry this time. Previously (for new SIMs) there was an expiry date of about two weeks and it mentioned it in the txt.

        I’m going to use the bigger amounts I won ($20) within the next two weeks just to be sure.

      Speed is ok for me.
      Might be a bit busier than usual but I don’t notice any difference. It will be temporary.

  • They've really changed it this time round. First time users only which is a total shame. Jeez it used to be exciting spinning up $50 after $50 after $50. Ahh those were the days.

    • I feel they've changed the whole prize-winning odds. Up until a few weeks ago I'd win a prize 3 out of 4 spins. Lately I've been winning 1 out of 4 spins.

      Definitely cuts down the number of winners.
      I was too late for the multiple $50 wins, but did manage to get the $20 ones. Feels like a long time ago now.

  • For anyone not getting the verification code to your mobile number:

    There is a message on the Waitomo Facebook page from a customer with the same problem.
    Waitomo's response is to send them an email: [email protected] and they will get it sorted.

    • I got this reply and I don't understand this sentence. " the code is sent to the bank" what is the "bank"? This is a new number ( warehouse ) sim and there is no bank connected.

      • I think they are confused about what you're asking.

        With Waitomo they do send a 2FA confirmation to your mobile when you add a new credit card to your account. I'm assuming that is where the bank reference comes from even though it's not what you were asking them for.

        Before you go back to them I just tried a new Warehouse Sim.
        It worked for me but I did need to register it first by calling 800 from the phone with the SIM inserted (or even just attempting to call any number will work). Once I had done that the 2FA came through for Waitomo..

    Ho ho ho! I think Santa has just arrived. Just spunned a $50 👍 Credit should last a month right?

    • Check the txt you get from Waitomo.
      I haven’t checked my sims yet so don’t know the expiry of the credit but it has only been a couple of weeks in previous promos.
      When it first started it lasted a year.

  • The deal is still live for whoever reported this deal as expired.
    In the past these have always run until at least midnight.

    • My moolah expired this morning, so lasted approx a month. If you "registered“ a new account, the free moolah period should start from that date, and not from the date of this promo, FYI.

      • I better check mine then.
        They usually send a txt at the time you win the Moolah saying when it will expire but didn’t see any dates on the txt this time.
