Some pretty good instore deals like the G915 for $99

    • +2

Wow, that is a crazy deal. Would love to buy one but in the wrong city!!

    • +2

Keyboard is the TKL version (No numpad), marked down from 449.95… which renders it pretty useless for flying aircraft in most games, or quick calculating etc. Great work cropping the right side of the keyboard image on the promo, right?

      • +1

Useful for anyone who doesn't want a num pad, ie me

        • -3

Yeah its obviously not a real gamer's keyboard.

It's a great lamp. It does flicker a little when the dimming is super low.

    • +2

Thanks for confirming the flicker. I thought I was just imagining things haha. Annoying but not unexpected I guess.

      • +1

Yeah I think it is around the 25% dimming percent and below…

Might have something to do with the candle flicker mode or something, but still a good price for 20 000 hours of use and ability to change from Cool white to Warm white.

    • Bought another lamp as I like using this, than the main light inside my room which is an eye sore and giving me like a slight sunburn…

      • Whoa. If your main light is giving you a sunburn I'd have that replaced or checked out at least. There shouldnt be any UV light emitted from most general usage light bulbs.

        • Will ask my property manager but eversince I dont usually use my main lights hence I really like this lamp as I can adjust the brightness

$5 for a logitech wireless mouse is cheap. I got one for $5 when a Harvey Normans opened and they aren't bad for $5

    • Only for in-store :(

Went in line and waited for 25 minutes, I would say I was approximately the 30th position in the line. Was part of the first group in, and the keyboards were already sold out haha but I didn't really expect to get it regardless.

At least got the lamp, $3 flash drive and mouse and they threw in a PBTech free water bottle when mentioning it was a shame to wait and was unable to get the keyboard.

Despite claiming it's their largest ever 'superstore' the Manukau and Penrose ones are definitely bigger.

To top it off I thought I'd try and get a cheeky price match in at a Noel Leeming on an unsuspecting employee but they took the $99 G915 deal off their website.

    • +1

Good on you mate. Glad you got something after waiting. I went around 11 to pick up lamp and it was crowded.

    • wow. Part of the first group and no keyboards as soon as you got in so half of the people in front of you got a keyboard.

    • +3

All 15 keyboards were all poached by the first group of ~6. I was right behind them, and they bee-lined straight to the exact cabinet with the keyboards… almost as if they'd be tipped off… They grabbed them all, because PB didn't impose a buy limit.
Wasn't interested in a TKL board because they're pretty useless, regardless some unscrupulous shit to see.

      • Interesting, I swear on the website it said '1 per customer' in small text just like some of the other products had, Oh well..

Did this just open? i thought they were advertising it opening before Christmas.

Edit: Was thinking I wasn't imagining it https://www.facebook.com/PBTechnologies/posts/pfbid02CUP3YV4… They even had free gifts as I was also thinking. I guess they opened with some giveaways but didn't do a opening sale because it was so close to Christmas and are doing it now over a month later, typical PB Tech.
