Carpet Tiles (Mostly 500x500mm) $4/m2, Broadloom Carpet 3.66mw $10/lm + More (Flooring Stock Clearance) @ Crown Flooring Xtra

90

Hi all

We have a retail flooring store and are also a commercial flooring contractor.
Clearing out the yard before the stocktake. Most product left over from commercial jobs and came from major suppliers.

On offer are:
* carpet tiles in smaller quantities usually a box (5m2) plus. Odd colours, some more mainstream than others. Most 500x500mm. Being modular you can mix and match to make it into a feature. Small qualities $1 a tile, singles at 50c. We do have larger quantities on shelf (for more) and can order in at exceptionally good prices for end of line stock;
* broadloom carpet 3.66mw. Again mostly commercial grade. Could be good for rumpus or garage or just floor protection. Old stock going cheap, most $10lm;
* lots of vinyl pieces anything from domestic to commercial and slip resistant;
* timber/laminate. Have half dozen lots of cheaper laminate floorboards let's say $15m2. And have a reasonable lot (20m2 from memory) of rather expensive prefinished engineered timber floorboards at $50m2.

Physical store at 30 Clark Street in New Lynn.

Feel free to leave comments if you are after a particular product. We do pretty much everything flooring related (like Axminster carpet, gym flooring) and too much to list in a post.

  • Hey do you ship to south island?

    • We can theoretically although this isn't really what we do and may not be best idea for the stock in question. It's bits and loose ends so best to see what you are getting for your hard earned cash.
      If you are after something more mainstream I may be able to organise. What are you after?

      • Ok no worries - makes sense! Sheet vinyl and carpet but will keep looking closer to home :) huge bargain for someone up north!

  • how much is an lm? I metre?

    • It's a linear meter. The rolls are in this case 3.66 wide as standard and you pay for each meter rolled off.

    • As per smolcheese.
      Sheet product is measured in lineal metres. Vinyl is mostly 2 metres wide. Some commercial is 1.8. some domestic can be 3 or even 4.
      Carpet is mostly 3.66. Some commercial or specialist is 4.
      Needle punch (garage carpet) is 2 or 3. I think I had a roll of 4mw on one of the jobs.
      Roll rubber is 1 or 1.2 wide

  • @Nzruzzki, I have a studio apartment, it's carpet is very old and tired. Would you have something to suggest? Do you do installation, if yes, how much? Are the carpet tiles be easy for DIYer to install? Cheers!

  • Any carpet on the floor will work just fine. You need to really see if you are happy with the colour and texture. Yes we can install, that's what we do. Price depends on carpet type, size of job and sundries. As a guide for average sized job you are probably looking at $60lm to install. For smaller jobs it becomes a day rate.

    Carpet tiles are straightforward to install. You can DIY if you are even moderately handy.

  • Hi - that roll of carpet on the floor next to the carpet tiles. Looks residential. Is it SDN? How many ounces? How many meters in the roll and is it going for $10 per lineal meter?

  • This is Washington from Feltex colour Charcoal current range. It is residential but polyprop. Despite that is one our best sellers. Never had any issues.
    Not $10 in afraid. The lowest I'll go (and I'm in the limb with that one) is $60+GST.

  • Keen on some gym flooring for our garage! What's the prices like for that, and would there be much of it?
    Hoping to swing by Saturday to take a look.

  • Have gym floor vinyl or rubber 10mm thick.
    Also have 50mm rubber and 75mm slabs. These are like $600m2.
    I'll make it a deal but will not be free if you follow my drift.
    Pop in on the weekend and talk to Pravin. He'll make notes and I'll work out the price for you next week.

  • Hey do you have any loop pile wool carpet on sale?

    • +2

      Good number of those in the picture are loop pile. Most are commercial. And commercial is mostly loop pile for durability.
      Having said that it is the type of carpet you see in hospital and schools. The emphasis is on durability not lushness. Best to pop in see for yourself. If you don't like anything that is on the floor pick one from the samples in store (we have lots) and ask Pravin for a price. Just mention that you came through cheapies so he sharpens his pencil :)

      There is some bulletproof commercial cut pile available that goes into i.e marae and hotels but you will not find it in retail stores. It is a bit more expensive than generic consumer grade but not by much. You can literally poor chlorine on it and it will survive (still not recommended and will probably void warranty).

    • +1

      Just reread and you are asking for wool. I know there's at least one roll in that lot in grey colour that I think is wool.
