  Tried an Auckland to Wellington flight on September 21 and got "The Promo Code you entered does not match a current promotion. Please try again, or click 'Search' to continue without a Promo Code."

  So guessing that is not an applicable fare, but would be nice to know what the exact criteria is.

    I think it's the flights flagged with a purple 'deal' icon that is eligible and discounted. After selecting a flight if you click 'more details' at the top, below the total price, it will tell you the savings e.g.

    NZD $235.00
    incl. taxes & chargesincludes taxes and charges
    Promo code saved you $79.00
    Earn Airpoints Dollars3 / Status Points 10

  Nothing against the OP, just not sure what sort of “deal” this is after reading a /newzealand Reddit post about it. Some flights I was eyeing up yesterday morning for myself and my missus look to be at the same price today despite showing as being part of the deal.

    It's all in the info isn't it? "Grab 25% off selected one way or return flights across NZ when booking for two or more people in a single booking". Seems like the cheapest fares (eg DUD to WLG for $79) are not part of the "selected" flights. Kind of good since it includes school holidays where often the cheapest fares have already been booked.

  Damn! I booked some flights 2 days ago, now it's $100 cheaper.. Tried calling them to see if they could do anything, no dice. Pretty annoyed.

  never fly with this shady airline. they haven't paid me for the flights they didnt provide during covid.
