S24 Series 15% off + $400-$500 Trade in Boost OR $200-$300 off+ $450-$550 Trade in Boost & 2x Bonus Products @ Samsung NZ

461
FLASHAUGUPGRADES24

Same deal as last time but this time using a generic code, when using the 15% off + $400-$500 trade in boost code (FLASHAUG) it removes the current store offer ($200-$300 discount, $200-$300 trade in boost, free Galaxy Buds FE for S24, free Galaxy Watch5 Pro LTE for S24+ and S24 Ultra, free Super Fast Wireless Charger Duo charging pad) but they also have another deal going (UPGRADES24) that gives an additional $250 trade in boost but allows you to keep the store offer. From my testing it works out you pay about $120 for the watch & charging pad so take your pick. Neither seem to work with the 10% members code.

Terms and conditions for FLASHAUG
Terms and conditions for store offer

(UPGRADES24 terms and conditions can be found in the Samsung members app)

Was able to get an S24 for $718.34 with trading in my cracked screen S20FE ($17+$400), 10% first time app discount, and 10% members discount.
For using the same discounts (including trade in) the S24+ turned out to be $993.74, the S24 Ultra $1269.14

NOTE: UPGRADES code is only for the below Z6 series offer, the $400-$500 trade in boost for S24 series is automatically applied in the cart after going through the trade in screen.

This is on the standard Samsung store/app and is good until 11/08 at 11am.

Also a good promo running on the Z Fold6/Flip6, 25% off + $100 trade in boost + $50 trade in boost for online exclusive colours + code "UPGRADES" for an additional $200 trade in boost (edit: must be trading in S series for this code to work), in the EPP store with the first time 10% discount you can get a Z Flip6 for $914.82. Same discount on the Fold also.
This deal is on both EPP and standard store however your total will be higher on the standard store. UPGRADES code expires 31/08
EDIT: It appears the 25% offer is now only available on the EPP store. Expires 29/08 11am. The terms and conditions don't state anything about the 25% discount, just the trade in boosts and $100 discount, so I'm guessing the 25% off can disappear at any moment (and go back to the standard EPP discount).

Combine any of these with the amex deal and you've got a pretty unbeatable price

      • scalpers/repair shops getting thier values probably lol

    • seemed so, but no online stocks lol

    • Yes. Looks like it until the stock comes back

    • You can pair with 30% off from the members app which makes it an overall better deal. Be warned though using that voucher cancels out the $400 promo voucher for other accessories.

      • The $400 can it only be used on accessories or can you buy another phone with it too?

Edit: it's just accessories including watches, buds and tablets

      • +1

The $400 evoucher is buggy on its own. I tried checking out without entering any promo codes and still it won't apply the $400 towards accessories during checkout. So it has nothing to do with 30% members voucher cancelling it. Typical Samsung Nz website.

        • If you order a it's s24 or 24+ the voucher goes through alright, so it's not the discount.

  • It goes for a few days so should be restocked online at some stage. I missed out on the deal over the weekend for mucking around so hopefully they show availability online at some stage.

    • I missed it because of the trade-in blank page over the weekend. I missed it again last night due to the 400 evoucher issue. You would think a technological company would not mess up their webpage so terribly, but their website is such a pain to deal with.

      • people keep up with it and still buy. so why should they spend money to fix it.

        • +1

The problem with Samsung is they make their site very complex with bonus vouchers, trades etc where Apple is just clean cut there's just one price take it or leave it. Also, Samsung New Zealand is managed from overseas and being such a small market not much attention is given to website maintenance, and this has been a problem for years. Samsung is a bit like Briscoe's 99% of the time you don't buy anything off them because it's more expensive than a retail store but every once in awhile they have massive discounts.

Looks like all the phones are back in stock again

  • Just got an S24+ for $791 plus a $300 voucher.
Applied 10% code plus 10% off for app purchase.
    30% off code for sale.
$370 off for trade in deal.

I added in the extras for my e voucher but it then wouldn't let me add the discount codes so I went back, added another phone and the $300 of extras before removing the extra phone again which worked.

Painful website but finally got a deal.

Also forgot I'll get $100 back for using my Amex.

    Got a S24 Ultra for $943.58

    • 10% off app
    • 30% off member
    • 10% off member
    • $50 survey voucher
    • trade in broken s20fe ($0 + $400 boost)

*$400 evoucher is still buggy so had to remove the accessories before checking out

    • Thats a deal breaker for me. Do you just give up on 400 evoucher or can you redeem it via customer support?

      • I tried support haven't had luck so far and have called them and escalated and waiting for a call back will keep you guys updated.

        • Any response for them? In same boat. So frustrating, their checkout has issues every time so far.

          • @marmitesammy: Nope, still waiting

            @manu b

Don't worry guys, it is not an isolated case, everyone is having the same issue which proved that it is not user error but their website's problem.

If they refused to honour it we can all make a mass report to tribunal. I don't think they would like that.

Lets just keep in touch here everyone with any updates.

the power is with the people, the power is with cheapies

            • @KiwiHunts4CheapDeals: Hey guys try again now! I refreshed my cart and it worked.

            • +1

@KiwiHunts4CheapDeals: This is the latest from them

We understand that you are interested to earn and use the $400 e-voucher when adding up more items, unfortunately it’s not changing the price of the order upon check out. Apology for the inconvenience caused.

In light with this, we have flagged up our purchase specialist to investigate this matter and provide you with the necessary support promptly.

        • Yeah it's started working just now. Just put my order through. S24 Ultra + 44mm watch for $578, with S23 trade-in. Fantastic.

          • @jemas: How much was your trade in for s23?

          • @jemas: Damn it. All of us who bought over the weekend are screwed. Anyone tried contacting support for this?

            • @ace310: What's the difference in price if you had bought today?

              • @marmitesammy: Someone with 10% off would have to try it. But I believe the $400 evoucher would make quite a diff.

                • @ace310: Yeah it's a bit bizarre they pushed out an even better deal after the initial sale?

            • @ace310: Yea I had everything in cart yesterday but didn't want to go through the hassle. Frustrating but was worth the wait. I hope you can reclaim the evoucher somehow.

          • @jemas: Do you have the run down of all the discounts you applied?

Trying to see if it is worth returning the phone and re-ordering it.

            • +2

@ace310: Not sure how each code affects the total but these are what I applied. Hope it helps.

              10% off first-time app
              30% off S24 series
              10% off member benefit
              $50 survey voucher
              S23 trade-in $450
              Trade-in boost $400
              Evoucher $400 - selected 44mm Galaxy watch 7 ($549)

              • @jemas: Did you managed to get them all to stack? I cannot get the evoucher to stay in my cart when I add the 30%…

                • @Cammo: Update: I have managed to get the 30% and $400 to stick, but lost the $50 survey and the 10% member benefit.

With Trade In (S23 Ultra 512GB) the S24 Ultra 256gb drops to $342.86.

              • @jemas: Can you please private message me or please open up your private messaging feature so that I can contact u? Thanks!

    • How to get the 30% off code?

    • +1

How do you get the $50 survey voucher? I recall speaking with Samsung after getting my s23 ultra but never got a voucher!

  • +1

looks like the coupon codes no longer stack and the 30% code negates the 10% off your first order now.. I knew I should have pulled the trigger this morning!

    • +1

I'm on the same boat as you.
I was on two different chat support who both told me to email the estore guys. But they never confirmed or denied whether it is not stackable anymore.

I got an email from estore telling me to reset my apps and try again. Most unhelpful help support.

      • I wouldn't waste your time with the estore, they are notoriously terrible to deal with and just ignore customers. Samsung's own physical store staff couldn't even get answers out of them when they had them and said I'd get nowhere pursuing them, which is exactly how far I got.

  • +3

Someones efforts won't be in vein, get over 25% off an S24 Ultra if you put in extra effort to tame this comment. After 5 minutes you might give up, but you could get it after the 6th, if not surely the 7th. Good luck my fellow cheapies.

(There is a 30% off code hidden within the above comment, the format for the code is XXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, the characters are in order).

Lol I’m not dumb but I give up

        • Tried to decipher it. But gave up.

        • I'm still going, lol

          • +1

@Devolution: Good luck. Whoever gets it deserves it lol…no easy money here lol

            • @blam: Here's your second clue lol

              SXF-25XM-A5X6-7XXM

              • @samohtxotom: It's either super simple and I'm missing it or so hard it doesn't belong on a cheapies forum lol

              • @samohtxotom: Maybe SXF-25OM-A5E6-7GLM. Can't figure out first X. Or I am totally off.

                • @ace310: Brute force it? Why not 25AM

                  • @blam: I give up. Lol.

                  • @blam: There is no logic to it lol sorry but I tried to make it short and not obvious, thought whoever was keenest would get it because of the required trial and error.

                    3rd and 4th clues are

The X in 25XM is actually the code (X in extra)

The remaining X's are the first letters in words.

                    • @samohtxotom: I thought you couldn't stack the 30% code with the other 10% codes anymore?

                    • @samohtxotom: Lol I thought you were some crypto genius that made a super hard to crack code. Not something to brute force lol

                      • @blam: same i was trying to fnd a pattern or something lol

                      • @blam: You grossly overestimate your fellow internet stranger haha my bad, to be fair it was a hell of a lot easier than what chatgpt spat out lol there are only 8 possible combinations left after the 3rd and 4th hint

                        • @samohtxotom: SEF-25XM-A5Y6-7GLM

So i'mma guess the E and Y are wrong

Next time use something like this lol, can encode and decode using various cyphers
                          https://cryptii.com/pipes/alphabetical-substitution

                          • @Huntakillaz: @samohtxotom Hey, well played. I am getting this messge with the code. I am trying to buy an S24 Ultra.

The code you entered did not affect your order. Please note, codes may only be valid for certain items or in certain conditions.

                            • @sarmadsoomro: Just found of that the code does not work on Samsung Education Store, though it is working on a standard store.

                              • @sarmadsoomro: That sounds right as it wasn't working on the EPP store either, I'm surprised the code is still working I'd have thought someone would have used it by now!

      • -1

Bro it's a random 15 character long code with numbers and letters what did you expect it was going to be. There's only 8 possible options left your frustrations could have come to an end if you looked at it again rather than posting this comment

        • Yeah but how many possible combinations did it have before any clues?

          • @blam: Yeah it was too hard at the start I should have at least added a clue to the initial comment

  • @samohtxotom Thanks for the code tested as working, but no purchase made.

It looks like the 10% off first-time app is no longer working.

    Only other stacking options are:
10% off first-time app - no longer being offered or not stacking
    30% off S24 series
10% off member benefit - not tested
$50 survey voucher - not tested
    Trade-in boost $400

    I'll get one one day

    • Ayeeee congrats on being the first to get it lol from what I've seen over the past few weeks they have these sorts of sales on their premium lines quite frequently so I imagine another good deal will pop up soon enough, just have to keep an eye out!

      • Yeah this Samsung Members app has some sick deals. Bought a Samsung S8 just to have access to it (+to trade in). Only cost $87.5 on trademe

        • +1

For trading in 2nd hand stuff, from ticking no to any one of the boxes they drop the value to 0 and no $400 bonus, so how do yall go find perfect phones?

          • @Huntakillaz: I just found mine on trademe. Just need to be a properly working phone, not too hard to find. Also FB Marketplace & Cash Converters should have lots of options.

            • +1

@blam: So you tick yes for 3) even though the the phone may have minor scratches and stuff? Coz if i tick no then it doesn't give any value for the tradein or bonus

              Criteria:
              1) Is the display fully functional (i.e no Touch issues) with the LCD free of discolouration, dead pixels or burn-in; and is the device free of 3rd party parts?
              2) If applicable, has the activation lock on the device been disabled and free from tampered software?
              3) Is the device free of physical damage?
              4) Is the device fully functional?
5)Does the device power on, charge and free of liquid damage?

              • @Huntakillaz: Do they drop the value to zero if you only say no to 3) now? I did that the other day for my cracked screen but functional display and it still gave me $17 and the bonus.

                • +1

@samohtxotom: Seems to be device dependent, tried a few other devices and they gave values fine also too many no's also may give blank value. so weird its not consistent.

              • @Huntakillaz: Yeah I would assume minor blemishes/hairline scratches would be fine. Generally with mobile phones physical damage is stuff like cracked screen/broken buttons/major dents etc. Are you sure it's no boost and $0 value if you there is physical damage though? OP traded in their broken screen S20FE and seemed to get it.

                • +1

@blam: Like for example if you select

                  • Samsung A04 32GB and select yes for 1-5 you'll get a value, go back and change 3 to no and then continue and it'll be blank value
                  • Samsung Note 8 64GB and select yes for 1-5 you'll get a value, but if you select no for 1 & 3 you'll get a blank value or even no for just for 1, you'll get a blank value
              • @Huntakillaz: Followed. Keen to do this for the next bonus deal.

    • Haha prepare to get spammed with DMs. I imagine someone else has gotten it at this point though

  • I surprisingly got a reply from estore

They said the 10% off members should still be stackable with the 30% off.

edit: They said "we will be raising this to our management team to assist us accordingly and ask for their advice."

  • My s24 plus arrived today, but I don't know if I can use it, everytime I look at it I will be reminded of the s24 ultra deal that I missed 😢

    • Do you mind sharing how much you paid for s24+ please?

      • +2

870 after trading in a phone worth $50

    • Just think of all those people that have your phone but paid $1700+ from a retailer

      • Hey mate, can you turn on your DMs. Wanted to send you something as a thank you for posting the deal

        • That's very kind of you! I've turned on DM's

  • Finally trade s23 ultra for s24 ultra plus and watch7 44mm for 500 dollor today

    • How many codes did you manage to use?

      • i used, 30% code, 50$, 10% app discount and trade my 6 month old s23 ultra
i also add galaxy 7 watch with 400$ e coupon and paid difference $149
so total come out to be less than 500$ for both watch and s24 ultra with exchange of s23 ultra

        • I have a $50 code but it didn't stack (it still works on its own). I paid $239 trading in S23U for S24U plus Galaxy Buds3 Pro.

    • How did you manage to get it so cheap. No matter how I tried, I can't seem to get it under $1100

      • With S23 ultra trade in in good condition?

        • yes recently bought in jan 24

  • PITA, the higher ram and storage models of the S24+ / S24 Ultra are constantly out of stock.

May just wait another 7 months for the S25 series. Looking forward to trading in my S22+ once and for all.
