  Does one have to pay for the hotel booking today OR can book today via Shopback on Trip.com and pay at the property to claim 15% cashback ? Planning for a trip in December but would want to pay at the property…Does that work ?

    @Ashwell Absolutely! You can book your December trip today through ShopBack on Trip.com and still get the 15% cashback, even if you pay at the property.

  Given that I (and others) never received the advertised amount from the various Temu and other special deals, even after chasing it up and being told it would be checked and approved, I really couldn't suggest anyone use Shopback, especially for big ticket things, and to stick with the two who seem to have few issues tracking and approving.

    I thought it was user error for ages as i had never had issues tracking with shop back or any other cash back site except the occasional time i left ad block on.

    But now my last 4 of 5 havent tracked even though ive tried disabling every extension except shop backs.

    And some of my cashbacks are coming due such as dominos that was due 2 weeks ago, and enquire does nothing so cant even get the money thats due.

    Feels like an exit scam honestly

  This is so scammy…

  Prices for accomodation directly via trip.com are 20% cheaper than the prices gor the exact same accommodation on shopback.
  What an absolute joke.

    @tribernate - this is understandably frustrating. To confirm this is not something ShopBack controls. Trip.com uses a pricing that’s dynamic based on the source of the visit. Your feedback is important and will share it with Trip.com. Understanding this is not the answer you were hoping for.
