  • I have had one of these for the past year or so (from when they did the $1 3-Month Membership

Definitely make sure to use all of the BOGOF vouchers

We once saved $45 on an escape room alone

Couldn’t recommend more, especially with the $30 Woolworths voucher

  • had these for many years, but found the offers have generally become worse/less retailers participating. Had several retailers surprised when I have tried to use an offer in the past 12months stating they had cancelled their partnership and shouldn't be on entertainment anymore.
Yet why am I still tempted…

  • Last time they offered around 35

  • I want to buy this, but the reviews on their app are terribly disheartening. Sort them by the most recent.

    —-bought it anyway.

    • Any standout deals?

I haven't activated it yet. You can explore all the deals at https://www.entertainmentnz.com/offers. Since we eat out at restaurants often, we believe that all the 25% discounts will cover the cost within a few weeks.

  • Is it weird or a bad sign that they have a buy one get one free voucher for a place that closed down over 3 years ago in Palmy (Flip City)?

I don't know how it works, so this is just a guess, but you can easily imagine a place paying for, say, three years of Entertainment Book partnership, closing down after a year, and Entertainment Book don't know, so keep running it for the three year term.

      Probably happens all the time.

      • Still being digital, you would have thought someone would have informed them and they would have subsequently removed the place. Its not a good look having a voucher for something which hasnt existed for 3 years.

If I was running Entertainment Book, I'd just leave it in unless someone logged into their partner account (I can only guess they have those), and cancelled it.

Lower risk (in case it was a competitor being malicious - also unfortunately common), and really not all that much downside in a digital 'book' apart from the 'not a good look' to some people, but most won't care as they'll just assume it was as above.

  • Anyone know what gym it is for?

    • Gym? This is for an entertainment booklet. The multi-city refers to being able to use deals in multiple cities.

      • Lol read that wrong some how I added GYM into the 12 months

  • I bought one last night and got an email from my chosen charity (KidsCan) saying thank you and what it'd be used for. I love they had the notification of funds if not the allocation of funds already.
Just giving merit where due to Entertainment.

Thanks for the idea, wasn't sure which charity to choose but I like KidsCan so have gone with them.
