Now that is a cheapies deal!

  • I don’t ever recall these making you money on a cashback.
    Good find.

  • Are there any limits on how many units you can claim?

    • Cashback claim is based on the serial number, so no I don't think there's a limit. It'll just be a different serial number per order.

    • If you do 23 or so an hour that’s minimum wage !

just pricematched for $43.92 Pink model @ the Warehouse
    https://smartfox.co.nz/products/brother-pth110pk-durable-p-t…
now to wait for another free shipping code

    • Did you go to store to get a price match? And could you still claim the cash back?

      • -2

pricematch online via chat, havent bought yet as i waiting on free delivery code, dont expect any issue with cash back

        • +1

How do you get the free delivery code?

          • -2

            @NovaAlpha: Patience my friend
"now to wait for another free shipping code"
you could try pricematch with warehouse stationery which would include free click and collect, or free shipping if you buy 2, buy i have issues getting the chat to work

  • 10% cheaper at briscoes with price beat

    • +1

Briscoes T&Cs dont look like they beat online stores. So i think the $43.92 is the best you can get by price matching at the warehouse.

  • Anyone check the Brother websites T&Cs of the cashback? The label maker isnt mentioned. Im a little reluctant to purchase one it isnt mentioned as eligible for cashback in the T&Cs even if it clearly is listed on their website…

    • +2

They just haven't updated the T&Cs for January yet.
Being a public holiday means it might be delayed but it will apply. It's mentioned on all the retailer websites (Harvey Norman, Warehouse Stationery etc).
Take a screen shot of the retailer website where you buy it and the brother website showing the $50 cashback to make sure in case you have issues but I don't think it will be a problem.

Profitable method to convert your Harvey Norman Gift Card or Bonus Gift Card to cash.

  • +3

    For the Westies.

    $38.00 at Laser Linx

  • Says:

Only one claim may be made per eligible product purchased.

Does that mean we'd have to purchase different colours for a different sku? Otherwise if we make one claim on a white one (an eligible product), they could deny another white being a second claim for an eligible product?

    • I’ve bought two in the past and claimed both for cash back without issue. They both had different serial numbers. Both white.

  • +1

Here’s some links you could try price match with (linked to white option). YMMV. I was declined using the first link but managed to match the second (laserlinx) instore

Great finds thanks. Warehouse online declined request to price match against laser linx, but they gave
a $20 voucher code to use instead on any future order

      Mollie wont price match

"We can't confirm their stock levels at this time"

"they are not eligible for our price policy"

      • Sheridan wont either. I actually wanted the voucher like goob got

      • I got denied yesterday as well online. Just price matched instore no problem though.

Also available in Blue White for $40.00 at Citywide Tech

      Edit: Out of stock

    • +1

idk if am being dumb but why are people trying to price match the other links if the first one doesnt work? With gst and delivery, it still ends up being $34 which is cheaper than rest of the options. am i missing something?

      • +1

Some cashbacks you can only use it if bought from certain shops, may be the case

      • I've found zero information about the company. Won't take the risk unless advised otherwise.

  • Wait so is this free money? xd

    • You get a net gain of at least $1 (more if you successfully price match) and a label printer.
Still need to buy the label printer upfront and then claim the cash back.

      • Does this mean I can multiple and get cash back like 2x white, 2x pink?
Or will it only be 1x cashback per colour?

        • I haven't tried multiple.
The only thing that could be an issue is the clause that states:

          1. The Claimant must purchase the Eligible Product for his or her own personal use in New Zealand and not for the purpose of commercial resale, rental or lease (i.e. the Claimant must be the end-user of the product).

You would definitely use 1 for personal use but hard to justify 2,3,4 or more.

Seems Harvey Norman has taken down these label makers from their website?

  • +1

Has anyone tried claiming through the Brother website yet?
It keeps saying my serial number is incorrect

    • +1

the cashback links are colour specific - make sure you're clicking on the colour that matches what you purchased

      • +1

Yeah, I bought the pink one and tried entering the serial number but it still says incorrect number.

        • Where did you buy it? Would you be able to refund it if it is not working?

          • +1

@obj: bought it at the warehouse. I might try contacting Brother if it doesn't work

            • @gunman: Thanks, I have also bought one from the Warehouse and have yet picked it up. Please post here and let us know how it goes.

              • +1

@obj: I had a look at the shelves when picking up my order today and they had the Brother label maker cashback promo flyers on the shelves so I can't see why it shouldn't work.
The flyer said this promo starts 01.01.25 so I'm hoping it works soon.

    • I picked one up from The Warehouse today (black) - no problems with the cashback, the serial number was accepted.

      • -1

        Did you do multiple? :)

      • How much did you pay for the black one? 59?

        • Price matched @$49

          • @Timnz: Nice, do you mind sharing which site you used to get the price match? I’ve got a white one, but really keen for a black one.

  • Best place to get tape etc for these? Any AliExpress recommendations?

  • +3

Price matched against Smart Fox at the warehouse online this morning. $50.91 including delivery

  • +2

Priced matched this morning against nzconsumables (white) in store at the Warehouse.

I also got an invalid serial no. when attempting to claim my cashback. I emailed them at [email protected] and got this auto response, so it must be a known issue.
If you have received an "invalid serial number" error, please reply to this email with the following information:
    1. Device model
    2. A photo of the device’s serial number
Once we receive this information, we will activate the serial number so you can complete your cashback request on our website (www.brother.co.nz).

    • Thanks - both my devices had invaild serial number. Which is strange, I have flicked them an email as above.
      Cheers

  • +1

Successfully price matched Printer Supplies (First link) at Warehouse Stationary Lunn Avenue @ $26.91.
Serial number worked for cashback claim although they did not have the Mt Wellington Lunn Avenue store listed. I just selected the blank from the dropdown field.
The store itself did have the flyer on the shelves advertising the cashback.

  • +2

Tried to match online a couple of times and finally got one to go through for $45.92. Easily did the match in-store for $23.40 (they even forgot to add GST!)

  • Just received an email from Brother saying my cashback has been approved and will be paid within 5 working days

  • I too have heard back from brother, really good customer service.

  • Managed to price match Harvey Norman's $49, they wouldn't do any of the other links in store.
got an invalid serial number error from brother so I've flicked them an email

  • +3

Submitted claim this morning approved in 2 hours. Payment received just now. Thats quick.
