I mentioned that Might Mobile's 3 month activation requirement didn't seem to be enforced at least last year

Unfortunately this doesn't seem to apply to Contact. I just tried to activate a SIM from this deal "purchased" at the end of June 2024 https://www.cheapies.nz/node/46196 and it tried to get me to chose a plan. Didn't go further since fairly sure it was going to charge me full price as historically I think it just automatically chose the plan.
Contact does seem to have changed their plans, so it's possible that this is the reason it no longer work and not the 6 months. I last activated a SIM back in November and it worked fine then but I think this was before their new plans. Since it's past the 6 months activation requirement, feel there's no point asking them about it.
(Never bothered to do the Rocket Mobile deal.)
