    All customers or just new?

Would be good if you could include this detail every time you post OP

    • +2

I always assume "up to 100%" means 100% for new and a lesser amount for existing, and just "100%" meaning 100% for both new and existing.

    • +1

It’s for all customers, capped at $10, and redeemable only once. Apologies for the confusion, and thanks for the feedback! 😊

      • +1

Is Doordash multi use then, since single use isn't specified?

        • If you've made a purchase from DoorDash before, you'll be getting the Existing customer rate. But if you're new to DoorDash, you'll get the New customer rate!

          Here’s the breakdown:

New DoorDash Customers: 100% cashback, capped at $10
Existing DoorDash Customers: 50% cashback, capped at $10

          Hope this helps! 😊

          • @gotyourback: Gotcha, and are both single use or multi use? Thanks

            • @Liger Zero: It is a Single Use, meaning if you've made a purchase with this deal and in the future same deals are offered - you will be getting the existing rate since you've made a purchase from DoorDash before

              • @gotyourback: I got that, I mean can I use the existing Doordash rate for multiple orders. I.e. 3x$30 orders would I get $30 cash back? Thanks

                • +1

@Liger Zero: Yep, you can definitely place multiple orders on DoorDash and still earn the existing cashback rate! Just remember, it's capped at $10 per order, so for 3 x $30 orders, you'll get $10 cashback for each. Enjoy your meals! 😊

          • +1

@gotyourback: @gotyourback What if my partner who doesn't have both ShopBack and doordash account, who then make his first purchase on his new doordash account using my ShopBack account.

Will it be tracked as new user? Eventhough I myself have made doordash purchases before?

            • @KiwiHunts4CheapDeals: Unfortunately, the Cashback might be tracked with the existing customer rate since you've made purchases with DoorDash before. The store partner uses specific criteria to distinguish between new and existing users.

To get the new customer rate, I'd recommend your partner create their own ShopBack account. That way, they can enjoy the full benefit as a new customer. 😊

      • Chemist Warehouse: Redeemable once on the day of the cashback(and again in the future) or once per shopback user lifetime?

        • It's redeemable once on the day during the Cashback offer! If there is any similar deal later on - it will be specified on the terms and banners

    • How do you make a post on here?

  • +3

Cool to see dominos on the site :)

  • +2

Checked the shopback t&c for dominos and hasnt mentioned anything for voucher code there

Could you confirm the cashback eligibility for purchase with voucher code please?

    • Thanks for flagging! Typically, purchases made with any promo or coupon code not listed on our website or app aren’t eligible for Cashback. However, let me double-check this and the T&Cs with the team. I’ll get back to you once I have more info!

      • +2

Thanks for your patience @dejrru 😊

After checking, I can confirm that using any promo or voucher codes will still be eligible for Cashback - If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! We're here to help! 🙌

        • It will be very nice!
          Thanks for confirming it

  • Hi @gotyourback, I'm new to shopback, have the app downloaded. So if I buy a dominoes piazza for less than $10, will I get it for free essentially? I pay $10 but then I can cash out $10 into my bank through the shopback app.

    • Cashback doesn't ever work on gst so you will always have to pay that

    • +1

To get the maximum benefit of receiving $10 you will need to spend $11.50 (due to the GST). Also won't calculate on delivery fees so need to spend more if adding delivery fees. Click and Collect will bypass this cost.

To make sure that the Shopback will work look for the green tick and the words 'Cashback Activated' (on the top of the page) whilst shopping.
Note: the Cashback takes about 3 months before you can withdraw to your bank account

Grab a referral link from Choice Cheapies before you start and then both people will get $5 each

      Here's the T&C's:
We calculate Cashback based on the order amount, excluding:
Fees (if the site has any - usually not)
      Taxes (the GST)
Service charges (if the site has any - usually not)
Shipping and delivery fees (click and collect bypasses this)

This Cashback deal is not valid together with:
Vouchers or Promo codes not featured on our platform.

      Cashback tracking
Cashback is available only if you visit the store website via our platform.
the store can only confirm to us that an order is recorded if you accept all cookies that appear on their pages.
Your Cashback may be tracked at a different rate initially and adjusted to the correct rate when we confirm the transaction details.

      Refunds, cancellations and no-shows
Any rejected, cancelled, refunded, exchanged or returned purchases will not be eligible for Cashback.
For partial returns or exchanges, we'll pro-rate the Cashback as an adjustment.

      • Thanks for the detailed info @Debzsea! 😊

You're absolutely right! To make the most out of the $10 cashback, spending around $11.50 is ideal due to GST. And yep, delivery fees won't be included in the cashback, but Click & Collect can help you avoid that cost altogether.

Also, definitely keep an eye out for the green tick and 'Cashback Activated' message at the top of the page to make sure you're all set. You’ve got it spot on with the terms and conditions—just remember that cashback takes about 2 months (60 days) to be processed before you can withdraw it to your bank.

Thanks again for sharing all the helpful info! @Debzsea @flembots @shortwonder

Just FYI buyer beware shopback nz is ok with tracking the upsized cashbacks. However…. not so great with actually cashing out the money =/

    • 5 Feb - email

We have successfully processed your Cashback withdrawal request. You should receive your Cashback in your bank account or Paypal account within 3-5 business days.

    • 17 Feb - support ticket raised that I didn't receive the money. they answered:

We've been informed by our bank partners there has been some unforeseen delays in processing which will affect our usual agreed timeline for payouts.

    • 21 Feb (today) still received nothing. in my shopback account it is showing money "withdrawn".

TLDR; no actual money seen. no timeline provided by their support team either…

(previously received cashback multiple times from "cashrewards" without issues…. but not from the "shopback nz")

who know maybe they ok with paying small amounts but i am having issues with them… so it's a neg from me for now.

    • +1

Yeah I’m usually all over something like this. Great initiative. But I only see bad reviews so haven’t started.

      • +1

It depends others like myself have gotten $500+ cashed out already so🤷‍♂️

Have always gotten the upsized chemist warehouse and doordash deals fine without issues

        • Oh, good to hear 😄👍🏻.

      • I have had ~$200 paid out in ~$50 transactions since they launched the nz site. So all working fine for me

    • I've got my cashback paid out four or five times now within a day. Sometimes just $10. Whenever it's become available I request it

      • Great. Mine is $300 in one transaction. Probably large enough to start having issues without clear timeline of when these issues are going to be resolved. Just looking suspicious from over here :)

        • Large amounts shouldn't really be an issue
I only cash out at $100/$200/$250 to bnz, it comes through fine.

Maybe follow up the support ticket again, coz thats weird

    • +1

Sorry to hear about the issues you're facing with the cashback withdrawal! 😔 Can you drop me a DM with your account details (email) so I can look into this further for you? I’ll do my best to help get this sorted out for you! Thanks for your patience! 🙏

      • Done. Thanks for offering help. Fingers crossed!

Don't forget to stack with the DoorDash Deals on atm:

There have been some good cashback deals lately. I have not had any issue claiming cashback when it is missing or cashing out with Shopback - its a pretty good service :)

  • +1

Anyone signing up i suggest using an email account that you dont get notifications from. Get like 10 emails a day but dont want to block them as need to know when credit gets tracked. Surely 1 email a day would be PLENTY as the deals dont change 10 times a day

    • The transactional emails you’re receiving from ShopBack are designed to help you keep track of your purchases and cashback, so you don’t miss any updates.

Unfortunately, we're unable to turn off these emails, but what I can suggest is creating a filter in your inbox and setting up a special folder for ShopBack emails. That way, they’ll be automatically rerouted and won’t clutter your main inbox - Hope this helps! 😊

      • +1

The transaction emails arent a problem. The multiple different emails a day about different deals the same day are. Easy solution, put all the deals in 1 email a day max.

        • +1

Thanks for your feedback! I totally get where you're coming from – it can be a bit much getting multiple emails in a day. While we can't currently consolidate all the deals into one email, I’ll pass your suggestion along to the team. Hopefully, it’s something we can look into!

          Appreciate your understanding! 😊

$15 sign up bonus GRABONE deal is still running for anyone wanting to signup now: https://www.cheapies.nz/node/49966

    • +1

Thanks! This has got me signed up haha. It’s usually only $5 referral ahh…

  • Question please - would it work for 100% cashback if I put a future order in doordash?

    • +1

Yes it works for scheduled orders.

  • Question @gotyourback , I’ve just had to cancel my Chemist warehouse order due to lack of stock. If I do another order will it register it was cancelled & give me the 100% Cashback on that? Great way to start haha (my first order with shopback) .

    • +2

Hey there! 👋 Yes, if you make another purchase, you should be able to receive the 100% Cashback, but make sure to clear your cart beforehand and click through from ShopBack to Chemist Warehouse for the Cashback to be tracked correctly.

We hope it all works out smoothly this time! 😊 Let us know if you need any help!

      • Thanks heaps! I had an email saying CW amount tracked is $7.77 , hoping it sorts itself out…. As my second order was over that $11.50 mark to receive the full $10 (100%) . And as I’ve read it takes the full 3 months to receive so going to be a long wait to see what happens haha…
I also signed up with the $15 credit ; once you’ve received a $10 Cashback…. So have to wait all that time to see if that works out too 😆😮‍💨. It sure is a patience game… but I do love the idea!
It’s taken me this long to get onboard because I’m not sure I’m cut out for the long waiting…
Appreciate your help and support on here though!

        • +1

You're right, the Cashback from Chemist Warehouse typically takes around 3 months to be validated, as the standard validation period is 90 days from the purchase date. It’s a bit of a waiting game, but it’s great to hear you're excited about the process!

If you have any concerns about your Cashback or want me to double-check it for you, feel free to DM me your account details, and I’ll look into it for you right away! I'm happy to help you with any issues you’re facing. Thanks again for your patience! 😄

  • Ok…
So in addition to my wifes Temu order not tracking at 120% as it was meant to… (it never tracked, we raised a case, then they tracked it at 3% instead of 120%)…
Now this Shein order has tracked at $0 cashback instead of 100% up to $20…

I haven't had issues with other websites, so perhaps these cheap Chinese websites Temu/Shein etc. are a bit dodgy. I really don't know how they could possibly make money with the cheap prices and then these 100-120% cashback deals on top of that… Won't be using them going forward… waiting for Shopback customer service to do something.

    • when you say not tracked, do you mean not confirmed? I seemed to have doordash, chemist warehouse and domino's orders of 100% all tracked, but they all seem like they will be confirmed some time around April or May. that's like 3 months away…… Does it normally take this long to be confirmed? I feel like this waiting will do something to my OCD… lol

      • No, I mean not tracked. I waited 3 days, never tracked so raised a case for Temu. Shein eventually tracked, but at $0.

        Temu (19 Feb 16:18)
        Purchase Amount: $35.28
        Cashback tracked: $1.06

        Shein (21 Feb 11:54)
        Purchase Amount: $40.66
        Cashback tracked: $0.00

        • Shein tracks at $0.00 then changes about two weeks later to an actual figure, it's weird.

          • @Adrenaline: Oh, ok good. I've raised a case but will wait. Obviously, we have never used Shein as these offers are for first time users.
Hopefully Temu corrects itself too then…

      • +1

And yes, the normal timeframe is 3 months to confirm. But some shops confirm quicker. New World, Viator, Trip.com, Tommy Hilfiger seemed to confirm pretty quickly. But Chemist Warehouse, Cotton On, Aliexpress etc. look to be taking the full 3 months.

        • I totally understand your frustration, and just to clarify:

For your TEMU order, it is currently tracking at a lower rate, but don’t worry – once the investigation is complete, the amount will be adjusted to the correct rate. We’re on it! 😊

As for your Shein order, it’s totally normal for the Cashback to show as “Calculating” initially. Once Shein confirms the transaction details, the correct rates will reflect in your account.

Thanks for your patience, and we’re working to get everything sorted for you! Let us know if you have any other questions.

          • @gotyourback: Everything eventually went fine. Got $30 for TEMU and $20 for Shein :-)

  • +2

Has anyone elses Dominos order failed to track?

    • Mine tracked perfectly fine. Ordered a pizza for $10.19 and got $10 cash back..

      • Submitted a missing cashback claim so hopefully it gets sorted fine :)

        • +1

They have added the cashback :)
