As BP) are now doing 10c off per litre today you may be able to 25c off in total. If tomorrow BP match gull by moving there prices down by 15c, you get 10c AA Smartfuel on top of that and then get a total of 25c off!

    Doesn't specifically state it will be 10 cents per litre off, but it is likely based on past discount days.

      Hi, unfortunately under anti-competitive laws we're not allowed to say the amount until tomorrow. We can say that you won't be disappointed, though!

        Can someone provide further clarification? There's a specific law that they can't advertise their discount until on the day? This obviously isn't the case with other retailers having sales and issuing catalogues and mailers in advance. e.g. I got the JB Hi-Fi catalogue yesterday and the deals start tomorrow. Same with Uncle Bills (starts today) and their flyer was on their website.

      Of course it'd be this much after i've filled the tank already on the weekend.

      If the local is a good rate, i'll probably top up the tank since they usually have no minimum spend, when everyone else is usually $40

      Not quite as bad as you but I filled up to about 3/4 at Z with a 9c Flybuys + 4c voucher over the weekend and last I checked the Z at $1.799 was 4c more than Gull at 1.759 so it's probably 10c difference. I desperately needed petrol and decided there was a fair chance there wouldn't be another good discount until the end of June so got $50. (I don't drive much so a full tank often lasts over a month.) For some reason I completely forgot about Queens birthday and the likelihood of another discount then even though I was waiting for the sales to look for a HD :-(

      I'm not sure if I even got the bonus FlyBuys as although I asked for $50 the total came out less due to the discounts and to be honest I get so little FlyBuys it's not really worth bothering with them.

      That'll be the same as what Mobil are doing in Palmerston North today. They've dropped the pump price on Unleaded 91 to $1.649/L (15 cents) to compete with Gull, plus they have their 10c/L off promo if you spend $40 or more. Click here to see PN fuel prices.

    To me this reads like the Mobil promo runs tomorrow as well. But the term midnight is ambiguous.

      I'd read that as until the end of the day tomorrow. When you say "midnight Friday", that usually means at the end of the day Friday.

    Im surprised that no one has posted this yet as there's 10 cents off at Mobil today too. East Auckland Ti Rakau drive is like $1.43. 8 cents per litre cheaper than neighbouring Gull if you pump over $40

      BP Chapel Road was $1.529 on Friday morning, and with the bonus 10cpl discount, it comes down to $1.429 (91 octane) and that makes it a very cheap fill in a loooong time…

    Mobil Ti Rakau Drive Auckland 91 Octane is $1.53 at pump plus an extra $0.10 off per litre when you spend $40 or more on Fuel. So Final price was $1.43 per litre !! Brilliant - too bad I don't have a way to stockpile :)

      IMO The whole point of going to Gull is to get the 10% off voucher - this allows you to get around 15-17c discount anytime for the next 3 weeks at Gull, which is incredibly useful. On the discount day itself Gull depresses the headline price of all nearby stations, but the nearby stations have discounts (Smartfuel etc.) in addition to the headline price, making them better value than Gull.

      So do a $5 fill at Gull, get the voucher, then go to one of the nearby stations to fill up. The current Gull voucher also includes $5 'The Works' wedges.

          Thats probably right, I'd be surprised if they have a automatic coupon dispenser at non-attended petrol stations. Don't have a Gull near me so I've don't have any experience.

      I've heard that when a Gull moves in all other fuel prices go down in areas, can't wait for one in Wellington. Still 10c off is better than nothing.
