  • It was $99 two weeks ago at Briscoes. But still a good price.

    • Not showing up on PriceSpy's price history. You should have posted it.

Downvoted because you can get it cheaper at another popular store right now. And no, I'm not doing the legwork for you.

      What other popular store?

      • I'm sure you can google. Took me 3 seconds to google and click on the first search result.

        • First result for me on google is amazon which after shipping and tax comes to $114.12 USD

Just had a look at and Farmers has it cheaper, Will update the post. Thanks.

          @ClipIt:

So do you want me to post the link so you can take credit for it, and get votes, just cos you can't google?

Or how about I post the same deal, so you can go and upvote it and subsequently revoke that vote?

        • @ClipIt:

And it's not a valid reason. You did it without reading the original body of my post, let alone wait for a response.

        • -1

@techhit: Oh, and you stated valid reasons on all of the following posts:

I did read your post, some people would pay more for local stock, I'm not one of those users.

        • @ClipIt:

Yep, that was in retaliation to what you did to my post originally.

You PM'ed me about that, and I explained exactly how I felt. Thought we had settled it, but you've gone ahead and done it again.

        • @techhit: What about this post.

        • @ClipIt:

Because it's not a Western Digital RED drive. People are quoting model numbers and it's never been proved as an official RED NAS drive model number. The post is encouraging people to buy something that they're not actually getting. Plus My Book could ship with a completely different hard drive. The drives initially shipped with a HGST enterprise grade 7200RPM drive. Then subsequently updated with a WD80EZZX. This is still not a RED drive, and it could change to any other drive in the future like a WD GREEN or BLUE drive.

THAT is my justification. I didn't have to explain it then, and I certainly didn't have to justify it to you, but seeing as you asked.

        • @ClipIt:

Did you see Avantime commented on BOTH my posts, yet he ended up paying $794 from MightyApe purely because they're local? Yet the deal from TechWorld was $727.

You're not one of those users, but obviously there are other users who do want the peace of mind about buying from a local store for warranty purposes and to support the local economy.

You had a vested interest in that thread and monitored stock levels multiple times. Seems you were looking for reasons to revoke the vote.

        • @techhit: Ok, next time you do a post I won't comment about stock levels at all. I thought I was being helpful.

        • You were until you revoked your vote, which just shows that you were being obtuse for all the reasons I've mentioned in this entire thread.

        • @techhit: If don't like users being helpful I won't. I have other things to do except argue with you. I wasn't even interested in the product in the first place but I vote because it's a good deal. I find theres a better deal and revoke my vote. Simple.

        • @ClipIt:

You are just full of irony. You never voted on that deal until you revoked the vote. By that point, TechWorld was no longer selling the card at $727 and is now selling it at $741 due to exchange rate fluctations (as Scott orders that particular stock from the US).

Are you now telling me that paying a saving $6 from a NZ supplier that has it IN-STOCK IMMEDIATELY is worth a vote revokation, and that old post deserved an upvote after the price increase and a 2-4 week wait on USA stock????

  • Smacked down again using your own search terms

Even the first link is a priceme link which lists TWO stores selling it for $99

    • Goole often gives different results based on the previous searches and what I have clicked on. Are you saying I faked this picture?

      • Nope, not at all. You obviously haven't regionalised the search bar in your browser to use Google New Zealand. Anything else you want me to dismiss again?

        • A quick search comes up with this, maybe worth a read?

        • @ClipIt:

Wrong again, and I'll prove you wrong.
This following search is done under a PRIVATE browsing session which means no cookies are used, and therefore no active logins with Google.com

If you browse to "Http://www.google.com" you will be redirected to "http://www.google.co.nz"
          Type in "NutriBullet NBR-1207M"
And you'll get the same search results as every other New Zealander.

If you don't get it, then it's likely your Windows Regional settings aren't set correctly, or you're using a VPN and/or transparent proxy that cannot determine your geographical location based on your incoming IP.

I'll even add in a bonus and open up google in Internet Explorer (a browser I don't even use).

You want me to VPN into my work computer and show you the results from Chrome on a corporate network using a private browsing session too?

'Bout time you two boys went to bed and slept it off. All this nonsense is better kept to PM's.

Sleep well all. Enjoy the weekend. Looks like it should be a nice one.
