I was at Mitre10 today and was zapped to see the massive discounts on all range of room heaters and de-humidfiers. Not sure why they haven't shown in Website. People were picking the heaters like hot cakes.
Micathermic heaters were more than half price.

No the prices aren't on Website. Not sure why they are doing Instore only. I couldn't get the model I was looking for in Porirua but Petone had some available
Chances are the discounts are for that particular store only. With Mitre 10 its store managers have a lot of autonomy in terms of what to stock and discount, and this is the reason why every Mitre 10 store looks a bit different. Compare that to Bunnings where everything is the same, sometimes right down to the store layout and planograms.
These discounts are across Wellington stores and was confirmed by the sales guy. I had been to pick the models at porirua and Petone and both these shops had the discounts ON. This sale is far better than any sale and un beatable. Give a try at your nearest store
It depends, I find that Briscoes also carry the Goldair brand, and when they have one of those regular 50% off sales you can get Mitre 10 to price beat them by 15%.
Goodone :). I have found Bunnings and Briscoes come with some excuse not to beat the price. Give it a try
