Keep an eye on the small interchangeable caps though as they are easy to lose - one of them is plain glass for night-vision, and the other one has a blue, IR-blocking tint for daytime. I cunningly mislaid the daytime one at some point, so could only record in b&w. I contacted Panasonic to check on how much it would cost for a replacement cap and it was over $100, so buying another whole camera is cheaper than buying one of the parts :)
