I'm pretty sure those prices are way overinflated at the moment. PB Tech has the 8pk Chocolat for $27.54 and the charger for $29.84. Still about $6 more expensive and that doesn't include shipping albeit pickup is free.
Eneloops are the best rechargeable batteries you can buy. I have the overnight charger along with the Chocolat series. They retain their power incredibly well.
