Plex pass gives you hardware transcoding which is a must for things like 4K
I see, I tried a 4K movie last month and it was very laggy. I guess that's why.
I use Plex myself but jellyfin seems to be gaining some momentum. Free and opensource which is nice.

Hm, I've never really understood the appeal of Plex Pass. As someone who uses Plex as a automated downloader/tracker library that I can share with friends Plex Pass just does nothing for me.
