No, but it may tighten up protocols and they can easily track you down from the recipient's address for shipping the item..

It did ask for email address on the order, but no confirmation came through on personal email.
Order is also not showing under order history.
I did take screenshot of order summary and order number tho. Will see if it shows up. lol

Found this tracking tool, it says received, but not yet confirmed.
My experience was all order emails got sent to the email used for the order not the email on the account.

I ordered around 2pm yesterday and instantly got an email sent to my personal email (I used a fake spark email to sign up). The invoice with the tracking number was sent last night at 8.30pm. My order status on the sony website now says 'shipped'.
I've sent an email to the courier company (Fliway) asking them to check.

Pretty sure it'll be delivered by CourierPost not Fliway. Fliway is for larger products, i.e. TV.
The tracking number they send you is a reference number which can't be used at CourierPost/nzpost tracking.

It's NZ Post/Courier Post. Mine were attempted delivery this morning and they left a card to call without knocking on the door.
Not sure they just dropped it off and knocked. Although the fliway tracking still doesn't work for me. Best to track order from Sony website itself.

Same here. Fliway tracking says it was delivered in Wellington but I'm in Christchurch. Also, tracking says 12 items but should only be 1.

I called Sony customer support and they gave me a new tracking number. This time its courier post. Looks like it is still at chch airport to be delivered Monday.
I missed out on these but it got me looking at headphones, have been wanting to change from wired Bose QuietComfort 25 to a wireless pair for a while cos my phone hates the Bose connection. Ended up getting Sony WHXB900N for $265 from Noel Leeming ($449 priced matched with Harvey Norman (their sale ends today)). They're great, noice cancelling isn't quite as good as the Bose, but they sound great and blocked lots of noise on the plane yesterday, yay freedom.
Anyone in Wellington after 2x Bose QuietComfort 25 ? still good.
