D-link home wifi camera at Harvey Norman.

Seems low priced compared to other suppliers and previous drops.

Looks to have night vision and a decent resolution.

Haven’t used it but others here may have experience with this brand/model.

  I have one of these, works great. Night vision is better than I expected, although it makes a tiny click when night vision recording starts.

  Reliable (no need to continually fix things on it).

  24 hours free cloud storage, it is OK for me (you can record to a SD card but not sure if it is accessible via app).

  I like that it records the 5 seconds before detecting movement — unlike some products where it only records from the detection time and you can miss out on footage.

  Just have this in our lounge, everyone knows about it …. sometimes visitors are nervous about cameras in general, and we turn it around for those people.

  I'd suppose the main negative for me, is that the app could be better. Once you figure out how to use it then it is consistent at least, and no bugs as such. I did have some problems first updating the firmware (froze), but, second attempt worked (always nervous shutting power during a 'frozen' firmware update).

    I have one, the Wi-Fi range is good, the picture quality is okay for the price (I brought my one about a year ago for the same price roughly, But for $200 it's recommended retail no way),It has very good wide angle so suitable for a narrow room.SD recordings good if you have the Internet out.Only negative for me also is the app and it's diabolical for such a large company.

  Does anyone know if this would be ideal for a baby monitor? I reckon its great for the price/features. I'd prefer an actual monitor so you dont require an app to only be open to view but should be able to setup on a spare ipad/phone?

    There's no reason why you couldn't ,also has sound detection and motion and you can log into the camera on your PC, IPad ,smartphone etc In live mode as well
    Also works with Google nest display.
