Just in time for renewal, might kill the old account and set up a new one for the discount.

  • Looks like Sky sports has the NZ rights for this year, so could be free with 7 day free trial hack. Not sure it’s still possible.

    • +1

7-day trials are no longer available.

From 23 January 2023, we will be removing our 7-Day Free Trial. However, we will be providing a free page of content to trial the Sky Sport Now platform.

    Thanks OP, signed up.

Sky sports stopped allowing trials in January.
Also, in the feedback for last years post, it mentions f1tv might be free in Austria or Switzerland, but I tried both and neither worked.

Not exactly f1tv but f1 is free to air in Austria and Luxembourg , you just gave to VPN to watch it. Worked all last year for me.

      • not in english though?

        • RTBF in Belgium is French and ServusTV in Austria is German.

If you want English commentary for the race, you can listen to BBC's Radio 5 live as you watch the stream.

Rather go for this than pay Sky $400 a year 🤮

  • Correct me if I am wrong but I'd have to use a VPN or wait 10 days to watch a race replay - correct?

    • +2

after 2 days or *Content available immediately for F1 TV Pro users.

There's 2 account levels, the cheap one you have to wait, the one that's $80 here the replay is accessible from.the second the action happens. I watched all of last season on Monday nights using this.

Thanks OP! This is a great app, fully worth it. Easy to share too!

  • Does anyone know if you can have multiple people logged in on one account streaming the live race?

Here it looks like you can't:

But I found a reddit thread where it sounds like some people have been able to

  • This would be great for the F1 but my Dad needs the V8's too. We tried the Supercars app but it was a bit much for Dad to get the hang of the VPN etc on his tablet then cast it. I think I'll be paying Sky TV just over $300 to watch both series. I wish they had announced having F1 when they had the Black Friday deal - it would make it easier than the weekly/monthly pass dance I'm about to do for the next 10 months!

If you subscribe to Superview on Youtube you only need a vpn to sign up, then can stream without a vpn.

      • Ohhh, I like that - he is a big YouTube user - thanks!

      • It seems to be requiring a card with an address from the locale I VPN to. Foiled :(

  • If I switch vpn to Brazil the price comes up as $39,99 real. Anyone gone through with using a VPN to buy?

    • I'd be interested to know as well, can one use a VPN to sign up at the cheaper price them stream normally? Or would I need the VPN to stream as well?

      • I had atinker, if you want to trick it then the vpn has to trick the f1tv app into thinking you're in a different country. Brazil looked pretty cheap. But they block international credit cards. Apparently if purchased through the app then payment goes through apple and can then use any card

      • I had read people have successfully signed up and paid via VPN, but then after that not needed the VPN to use F1 TV Pro in countries where it's provided normally (like NZ)

        • Also I think if you have a decent vpn you can set to Austria and watch the races for free.

  • Woop! I've been waiting for this! Thanks.

  • Watch F1 live streams with a VPN in 2023

    https://www.expressvpn.com/stream-sports/formula-1/

  • Or you could just go IPTV and pay $10/month for a good provider that has all the sports:-) No hacks needed!!

  • Thanks! Decided to jump on with it this year rather than just the YouTube highlights. Looks good!

  • I bought from Turkey App store last year and paid in Lira.
You can get app store card all over the places.

But seems like Turkey F1TV takes Euros now

  • Got one today, thank you. Tried really hard getting overseas ones but VPN didn't cut it.

  • Is anyone else having any trouble getting Windscribe VPN (Free Edition) to connect them to Istanbul, Turkey?

I keep getting landed in Canada for the last week or so.
