Targeted offer but I think most people got it? Thought I'd upload it as it seems like a pretty good deal, especially in conjunction with the Disney+ offers that we have been getting lately like here

  I got the email today and mine reads:

  ”Simply scan your Flybuys and you’ll receive 50 bonus Flybuys every time you spend $40 or more on fuel at your local Z or participating Caltex site. Don’t miss out, offer ends 16 March 2023. Your bonus Flybuys will be loaded within 10 business days of this date.”*

  So if I scan, then hang up the pump at $40, rinse and repeat, will I get 50 bonus Flybuys every time?? Coz that’s sure what this sounds like!

    Yep filled up 3 times within the period and got 50 points each time.

      So tomorrow I go and put $40 in my tank, stack the 10c pumped saving, claim 50 Flybuys, do the same thing again x2 coz I’m almost on empty, et voila, 150 bonus flybuys points for gas I needed anyway, 30c off my wife’s tank later in the week and 50 more bonus points from that too! Sounds like a cheapies deal to me… I’ll take it!

        I would make full use of those 20c app sign up and supergold offers too if I were you. Plus finding the cheapest nearest station on Gaspy. I noticed some stations are cheaper on the weekends than on weekdays, so always worthwhile to check the app.

        And make sure you are earning petrol discount instead of flybuys because those 50 bonus flybuys covert to 36c off per litre. On 50litres that is $18 worth. So 3 fills of $40 gives you $54 worth of fuel discount.

  I had one back long ago for 30 or 50 points I can't recall - never had one since - also they never credited my points despite 3 fill ups in the period -_- but that's the story of flybuys gotta have proof to chase everything
  Thoughts, reckon it's because I fill at z/caltex regularly now and don't need encouragement to?

      We use ours all the time, although I’m not sure how “less active” would be measured by them. Maybe compared to the majority of other members we are!

    I have seen this offer once, and I went and put petrol anyway. Then the points didn't come through, I went to look and it disappeared online. I contacted the CS team, mentioned that I saw it and went within the dates and they gave me the points anyway.

    I guess it pays to have a screenshot (that doesn't include the person's email or flybuys number) and use that when it happens as proof, but I always say. No screenshot, no use for those non-targeted.
