      I tether with mine from time to time for my work laptop/friends phone when I'm travelling and works well.

      Account management wise, I don't believe there's an app. You just have an account on kogan mobile NZ that's fairly basic. It shows how many GB you got left for the month, your daily usage, some options to renew or redeem vouchers and that's about it.

      I also have a sim with Skinny, and found Skinny has better coverage in the more obscure places when on a hike, or in shops that are concrete-box like.

          Yes. Kogan don’t do eSIM in NZ so you require a physical SIM from Kogan.
