I agree that it is a really good deal. Not sure what the problem is, could be a lot of people either can't get UFB yet or are locked into term contracts? The other thing could be the 12 month contract. Who knows.
Yeah I guess the one big downside listed is it's for people with existing connections(ie not for people upgrading to UFB from adsl/vsdl).
I'm a bigpipe's gigabit fibre which is double the price but 10x the speed. I reckon it's worth it for the speed.
Yeah on gigatown(1000/500) here, it's great on services like Origin getting near gigabit speeds, can't say I've done more than 200mbit for any other uses just yet.
