      The 8TB drives are >$400 and will get hit with GST/customs charges by Amazon.

      The IronWolf drive above can be used as a desktop drive (especially with 7,200 rpm), it may just be noisier.

      you'd be better spending the money on an ssd and a non nas smaller HD.
